CONTEXT AND ISSUES
Cujimarket is the response to the need of the municipality of Anapoima to design an innovative proposal for the concept of the Market Square in order to position it as the essential supply center, collection, fruit processing and dynamizing the social and cultural life of the municipality to increase the generation of formal employment and dignify the jobs of all its actors. In these images you can see the current state of the Anapoima square, which shows a state of constant deterioration and abandonment.
CUJIMARKET
This new market is designed for the peasants and farmers of the area, as it is a space that allows the sale of their crops and by-products. It also thinks about tourism in such a way that it becomes a space that has restaurants (which get their inputs from the farmers) that offer a delicious gastronomic proposal based on typical dishes of the area, a viewpoint, a stage designed for cultural activities such as the Anapoima Dance Festival, and recreational activities. Everything is designed and structured in such a way that the visitor's experience is pleasant and a point of remembrance of Anapoima.
SUSTAINABILITY
CujiMarket is a sustainable proposal that takes into account the bioclimatic conditions of Anapoima. Therefore, its structure functions as a water collector, and also allows natural ventilation and lighting due to its height and its characteristic shape.
